Birthday packages:

  • Based on a group of 6 children on 6 ponies (or horses dependent on age &/or weight). One tour guide and one wrangler is provided and host must provide 4 capable guardians per group.
  • Additional hour after the ride is given for the party’s enjoyment to be spent in and around the ranch bunkhouses and gardens with a wrangler present to help kids handle, hold and play with the smaller animals.
  • A picnic area and tables are available for eating, crafting and playing.
  • Party host is welcome to decorate, store gifts and food in the bunkhouse while out with the ponies.
  • A gift for the birthday girl or boy.
  • Additional children are $50 each and includes an additional ranch wrangler. Note that additional time may be required based on group size.
  • Groups of 10 or more children will be organized into two groups.  What to do while one group is waiting for the other? …Incorporate a rustic ranch craft (see below for more details).

Ranch Adventure Birthday Party (Recommended for kids ages 4-8)

$375 (Duration of approximately 2.5 hrs.) 1.5 hours with the ponies, 1 hour to party!

After matching kids to ponies/horses, the kids will get to do some grooming, tack up and head out for an adventure!  You will need to provide at least 4 adults who can comfortably lead ponies (if you are unable to provide adults, please let us know so that we can get our wranglers to assist – at an additional cost).

Pony Play Birthday Party (Recommended for kids ages 2-4)

$300 (Duration of approximately 2 hrs.) 1 hour with the ponies, 1 hour to party!

After we match these tiny humans to their tiny ponies, they will get some time to brush and love on their pony, then we tack up, hop on and go for a beautiful walk in the tree pasture (you will need to provide at least 4 adults who are able to lead ponies)!  The kids will pause to pose on the step up rock with their trusted steed, look for the silly faces in the trees and wave to the big horse herd in the next pasture!

 

 

Horse Wrangler Birthday Package (Recommended for kids ages 9+)

$375 (Duration of approximately 2 hrs.) 1 hour in the arena/round pen, 1 hour to party!

After matching these big kids to their horse or pony, we will head to the arena to teach the kids how to wrangle!  They will do some team mounting and dismounting games, leading each other around to gain confidence and once they’re up to it, some riding relays.  If the children have previous riding experience, we will change up the games to make them more challenging!

Bunkhouse Garden Birthday Package
$200 (Duration of 2-3 hrs.)

Are you looking for an outdoor venue to host a gathering?  We have the beautiful bunkhouse garden and BBQ area available!  We have tables and chairs, a BBQ, we can put some grazing ponies in there, duck parades occur at random times and without warning, the rabbits might want to join your party, streaking by in their birthday suits, the chickens have low standards and can be easily lured with finger food!

This a great option for a family gathering or for young kids who want the small animal experience!

 

ADD-ONS:

  • A rustic ranch craft class (based on 6 children): allow for an additional 45 min to an hour based on complexity of  age appropriate craft.  Cost: $120 for supplies (horse hair, barn board and other organic craft components) guidance and instruction.
  • Campfire can also be made available should you want to bring your own ‘roastables’ for an additional $50 (includes fire wood and a wrangler for supervision).

HOW TO BOOK YOUR EVENT?

Whether its a birthday party, school field trip, club excursion, please send an email (horseplayranchadventures@gmail.com) and be sure to include the approximate number of humans (and average ages) along with a selection of dates so that we can best give a quote.

For birthday parties, please decide if you would like a Ranch Adventure, Horse Wrangler or a Pony Party, the number of little humans needing a pony or horse, along with 2 or 3 dates that we can work with and we will get back to you asap!

Once your party has been booked, you’ll need to download an ‘Acknowledgment & Release Form’ to include into your party invitations as each child will need a parent or guardian to complete and sign prior to participation.
