Horseplay! Ranch Adventure Camp

(April 14th to 16th)

This program encompasses all sorts of spring ranch activities!  Most importantly, we believe in traditional western family values so this camp is for mixed aged children 3.5 to 9 years olds.

Together we will feed horses, check for newborn calves and children will work together to  complete different ranch chores.  Most excitingly, children will learn all about how to catch, groom, saddle up and ride ponies.

All children will have equal amounts of lead-line or solo ride time (depending on ability) as we go out on trail rides to look for spring flowers, cow bones, play in the creek, or go cowboy tobogganing (if there is snow).  Our pack pony will carry all the lunches and we’ll enjoy a picnic somewhere new each day!

Rustic ranch and horse crafts will also be incorporated into the program.  Each day will be different…  If we discover a cow having a baby, we’ll be watching! (From a safe distance of course)

Please pack one morning snack, water bottle, and your child’s lunch.  We will provide the afternoon snacks that will be shared with the ponies just before we let them loose for the day.
