Pony Play
(Wednesdays at 9:30)
Recommended for the younger children ages 2.5 to 4.
This 4 week, outdoor series is designed to give families special one-on-one time with their very own pony.
An instructor will introduce you and your child to your pony, and while enjoying the horses at your own comfortable pace, you’ll learn horsie basics such as how to brush and comb your pony, pick up their little feet, and comb manes and tails. Together with your child you will learn basic lead-line skills to take your child on a lovely guided pony ride around the ranch. You’ll be leading and walk your pony over, through and under fun obstacles as we tour the home ranch pastures, look for baby calves, barn owls and the first spring flowers!
As we progress through our pony play we will also be crafting a unique horsie ranch keepsake based on each week’s focus.
