Spring Ranch Adventure Camp
Recommended age 4 to 8 years old.
FULL DAY Tues to Thurs (9 am to 3:30 pm) March 22 to 24, 2022
This is an all day version of our typical Ranch Adventure program, however, parents get to ‘drop & go’, and each child gets their own pony wrangler instead! Every morning our ranch kids will help us do morning chores such as cuddle baby animals, feed, grain bulls and round-up ponies. Each day kids will spend at least 3 hours with their wrangler and their very own pony. Wranglers will help each child catch, halter and groom out their hairy little horsies, and aid the instructor in teaching the kids how to tacking up, mounting up on their own, balance and ride. Wranglers will keep their kids on a lead-line as we leave the main ranch on different adventures each day. Individually, as kids gain their confidence, the instructor and wranglers will help them learn how to use reins and maybe even ride on their own!
However, if a child is content to stay on a lead line that is just fine too!
Once mounted, kids spend at least two hours a day in the saddle out on the trail. Balance of the day will incorporate ranch inspired agricultural/educational activities (age appropriate), hot chocolate, bunny, kitten and chicky cuddles, and of course an epic game of bale tag!
Full Day Cost $375 + GST
