 Halloween Parade & Play Day.

This is a private invitational event. Bring your own horse or use one of ours.  Come Dressed up or don’t dress up, but dress to stay warm!  All Ages welcome!

($5 an event or $40 for the day)
Since the riding arena is still under construction and rocky, racing for speed is not encouraged.  These fun events are games to challenge your horsemanship.  Reckless riders will be horse whipped, tarred and feathered.
Bunkhouse will be open at 11 to register and accept fees.
What to do while kids are decorating their pony and getting ready?

EVENTS

  • Halloween Horse and Rider COSTUME CLASS is at 1pm
Judges Clare Biever and Robert Carr
You can be on/with/beside/behind your horse… with a lead line, or no lead line…anything goes.

      • 10 and Under
      • 11 and up including Adults
  • WESTERN PLEASURE DUOS with Twine
Partner up with another rider and you will be given a 1m length of twine which you will need to hold between each other as you compete in a Western Pleasure class.
Nicole Pinches will be calling out and judging the four gaits (walk, jog, lope, back) as seen in a classic western pleasure class and as appropriate for the age groups.  Partners must keep hold of their twine and change gaits as a duo.  Winner is the last duo in the ring still holding their twine. Partners that lose their twine must immediately exit the arena at the closest gate (there are 3) or move into the center of the ring to get out of the way, whichever is most efficient and less disruptive to the rest of the competitors.
