Riding Practise
For those who know how to ride AND/OR those who own their own horse and tack who want to practise.
We can do dry work or drills in the arena, work cows that need to be brought in and sorted, hit some trails to work on obstacles or maybe you don’t care and you just need some riding accountability in a fun group .
This is 8 weeks of riding for those who want to carve out some time to escape, brush up on some skills, learn new ones or test your skills with a spicier horse. Tell Kari what your goal is and she’ll get you there!
As always, basic horsemanship foundation is needed and constantly referred to. The goal is to let go of stress, and focus on the beauty of connecting with yourself and your horse outside in the beautiful spring weather. Coffee mugs are welcome!

Jay on TyWe will keep a very flexible structure to meet the needs of each within the group.
Morning practise – we usually scoop daytime adult riders so after warming up in the arena we choosing our practice plan or destination. Our trail system has various terrain as we ride along to check for new calves and foals, spring flowers, and enjoying other various wildlife and nature as we ride over 500 acres. So you can breath deep and relax as we help each other open gates, hold horses, and change paces as well as views!
Evening practise – This time slot is popular with the youth, so we work on dry work, drills, and gymkhana events in the arena. Need practise for upcoming Gymkhana’s? Look for the Thursday evening time.

Riding tips and instruction will be given, but these ‘practise groups’ are kept casual and fun. If beginner lessons are needed please review the ‘Ranch Rider‘ classes.
Haul-ins are welcome.
